I have undertaken musicological work since my studies. Indeed, this has become increasingly important to me over time. I like to compare the search for original sources and their analysis with the fascinating work of an archaeologist, which I am pursuing in a musicological sense. My first programme notes were written for the master concerts which took place as part of the European Music Workshop in Altomünster in 2014. I have compiled these texts in the following, along with other writings on various topics in a separate section. Step by step, these will be supplemented with new material.
